New Charlie Pictures

I had my fourth (and hopefully last) ultrasound of this pregnancy last week, and we got some great 3d pictures of Charlie. I can see a resemblance to Ella already, but I don't know if I'm maybe imagining it. Hard to believe he will be here in about 10 weeks!

What Happens When A Toddler Gets Herself Dressed

Pink tank top shirt? Check. Bandana-looking navy blue skirt? Check. Hot pink socks with neon green alligators all over them? Double check. What the picture didn't include was the addition of a multi-colored polka dotted silk scarf tied around her waist about 5 minutes later. It really completed the look she was going for.

Bunnies, bunnies everywhere

On Friday, Mikan found three teeny tiny baby bunnies huddled together out in our backyard. So, because we don't have near enough going on in our everyday lives, we are keeping the bunnies here over the weekend until we can get them to the local wildlife rehabilitation center on Monday. As much as I am not a fan of having pets like rabbits or ferrets (or anything that isn't a dog, really), the bunnies are ridiculously cute. Ella is absolutely in love with them, and named one of them Marty, and she loves to help feed them (water/Pedialyte with a medicine dropper). They are SO tiny...probably a smidge under 4 inches long.

Poop Party!

Ella finally got over her fear of pooping in the potty, and I had been telling her (well, bribing her, really) for the past 3 months with a big party when she finally did it. So, we invited some famiy and friends over, and Ella was the star of the show for the evening. She was SO excited, more so about helping me make the cupcakes than the actual party, I think.

Gorgeous Day At The Park

We all packed up in the car (including Stu) and headed to Edwin Warner Park for the whole morning. It was such a beautiful day, and we spent the whole morning wading in the water, watching Ella play in the sand, and walking through the park.

"Mommy, I Have Wuvly Wips Like You!"

That was what Ella said to me the other day from the kitchen, where she had no doubt gotten into my purse and found my lipstick. Oh Lord. I was relieved to find that she actually kept it on her lips, and not on the wall, table, or curtains. You can tell she feels so pretty, haha.

Pool Party Playgroup

I belong to the Bellevue Moms Club, and Ella and I really enjoy taking advantage of all the fun meetups and group activities that they offer. We have gotten to know some really great friends through the group, and Ella LOVES it when we are able to make it to a playgroup. This particular day, the host had 3 baby pools filled with water, water toys, bubbles, and tons of toys sitting out in the backyard. So much fun!

Best Buds

Ella just adores Stu, and tries to follow him wherever he goes. Poor Stu is such a good sport and lets her hug him, lay next to him, and give him kisses. Occasionally, though, we'll find him hiding upstairs, away from us. I can't say that I blame him!

Birthday Party Fun

Ella's friend Daphne turned 3 years old, so we headed over to her birthday party. Ella had a BLAST! They rented out a local dance studio, and had big mats, pom poms, hula hoops, and balance beams scattered everywhere. All of the kids had so much fun, and Ella sure was tired after 2 hours of "gymnastics".
